
This beautiful, spacious restaurant is run by Nancy Silverton (of La Brea Bakery) and her husband Mark Peel. Mark creates wonderful Californian/Mediterranean dishes for a menu that changes daily, while Nancy provides her famous breads, baked goods, and desserts. A very extensive wine list is also avaiable.
Specializing in Californian and Mediterranean food, this is an upscale establishment. Expect the average entrée to cost from $20 to $30, and plan to fit the scene by dressing casual.
Atmosphere: enhanced by murals and flowers and plants, and the lighting is set quite dim. Tables are covered with linen tableclothes. The restaurant has several dining rooms. It is comfortable and relaxed and patroned by all kinds of people.
