Part of the Real Restaurant group, which brought you Bix, Mustards Grill, and the Fog City Diner, Caffe Museo doesn`t have the frills of reservations or table service. Still, it`s a great place for a bite before a show at the neighboring Yerba Buena Center. The decor is in-step with the style of its museum location. Likewise the salads are creative and plentiful (the carrot/raisin is a favorite), and the focaccia sandwiches are tasty and generous.
Caffe Museo focuses on Californian and Mediterranean meals.
Atmosphere: Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.
