Okay, it`s in a shopping mall, but once you enter Buffalo Grill, designed by Pat Kuleto (who is also a partner), you feel transported to another time and place. The theme is an upscale version of the Old West, and as with all Kuleto projects, the detailing is marvelous. There is his signature touch -- the rosy, cherry wood finishes -- as well as golden glass lanterns and doorknobs shaped like buffalo horns. The food is all-American. Recommendations include maple-cured, double-cut pork chops with corn spoonbread; grilled three-peppercorn steak with caramelized shallots; and baked macaroni and cheese with sage cheddar. Save plenty of room for the "ten mile high devil`s food cake," served with white chocolate ice cream.
This fine dining restaurant offers guests an American fare. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20, and dress casual.
