Long before Donna Scala made a name for herself at the Union Square Scala`s in San Francisco, she was cooking up a critically-acclaimed storm. A recent renovation has transformed the space into a rustic, warm environment very much in sync with the lusty Mediterranean fare. The menu changes often, but when available try the fritto misto, the traditional pappardelle with braised rabbit, and in particular the trenne with lamb, olives and artichokes.
Don Giovanni serves up Italian dishes. Expect the average entrée to cost between $20 and $30.
