This large building with an Oriental style roof is set apart from the local shopping corridor. Once you step inside, you enter a different world altogether. An immaculate sushi bar is on one side, and a bar is in view. On the other side is a large dining room filled with Tepanyaki tables. Here, chefs sporting traditional hats and tools of the trade stand before the seated guests to prepare food on the grill built into the center of each table. With a certain theatrical display, fresh meats, seafood, and vegetables are stir fried to suit each customer`s request.
If you go to Benihana, you`ll find a restaurant that cooks up a Japanese menu. Expect the average entrée to cost $20 to $30, and it is fine to dress casual.
