A small, charming neighborhood eatery, Baker Street Bistro is the darling of one of the Chronicle`s food critics, so it`s become a destination dining spot. Where else can you find wonderful rabbit in mustard sauce, a great steak frites, or a decent creme brulee, all in a romantic setting for under $20 a head? The only drawback is the house wine: splurge and pick from the list, or bring your own.
This place serves patrons a French fare. Expect the average entrée to cost between $8 and $12.
Atmosphere: Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.
More Reasons to Go: When weather permits, enjoy outdoor seating.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are suggested. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard and Visa
More ...: has a Prix Fixe menu
