Since 1981, Aoba has been turning out sushi and other Japanese fare in the heart of downtown Glendale. Diners can head straight for the sushi bar to feast on spicy tuna, soft-shell crab, and lobster hand rolls, or skirt over to the newly installed Teppan Grill for an entertaining show for both the eyes and palate. A conservative, traditional Japanese dining room offers a more low key, out of the way perch from which to enjoy all of the above in addition to the extensive remainder of the menu.
