When friends from out of town ask you why you live in northern California, bring them here. The restaurant`s vista, dramatically framed by the wall of windows, says it all: an expansive view of the Pacific, with waves crashing below. The Anchorage serves extremely fresh seafood and, for the most part, executes it very well. High marks go to the bouillabaisse, which is chock-full of crab and scallops, and to the crispy fish and chips. Simple fish fillets, whether halibut, salmon, or bass, are also excellent. Ask for recommendations for cooking preferences and daily specials.
Here you`ll find a fine dining restaurant that focuses its culinary talents on an American cuisine with a menu dominated by fish and steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $12 to $20, and dress casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
