It may look like a rundown Georgetown storefront, but Zed`s is actually an excellent Ethiopian restaurant -- the embassy holds all of their official dinners here. The food is spicy, authentic, cheap, and most importanly, really good. There are, of course, a large number of vegetarian options, and they offer a wonderful soft bread (inerja) in place of utensils.
Zed`s Ethiopian Cuisine serves up an Ethiopian cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12, and dress casual.
