In spite of the forbidding-yet-tantalizing, 15-foot-high painted skull framing on the doorway and the decidedly punk atmosphere, this place is perfect for the only slightly adventurous tourist or young urban professional. The attendants are aggressively pierced and tattooed, but not annoying or rude; in fact, they`re very friendly and helpful. The menu is plainly American burger or brat and fries. Be sure to admire the turquoise-and-zebra-striped hearse parked ostentatiously in front.
Go to Vortex Grill for a restaurant that dishes up an American cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost under $8.
