This is a Southern Comfort cafeteria, and it triumphs in the presentation of the down home cuisine. In its relatively new location (it moved here to capitalize on the weary and carbo-loading Olympic Villagers in `96), Thelma`s is the traditional cafeteria, chalk board menu meat-and-three. Here`s where the homesick will find okra cakes, fried chicken and coconut pie, and feel much better when they`ve finished.
