Striped Bass has stunning decor, with enormous, extravagantly-draped windows, elegantly appointed tables, and an overall ambiance of affluence, both from its food offerings and its patrons. A huge stainless steel sculpture of a leaping fish presides over the open kitchen, the latter giving diners a chance to observe the preparation of the finny creatures and crustaceans that are the sole foodstuffs served here. Vegetables, salads, and desserts are also available, of course.
