Located just off the main lobby of The Bellevue (the business-oriented section of that venerable building -- not the hotel), The Palm is a virtual clone of several others in this group of red-meat lovers` hangouts. Caricatures of (nearly) everyone who is anyone are displayed on the walls: showpeople, politicians, celebs, etc. The waiters are all business in their down-to-their-shoetops white aprons. The restaurant is reminiscent of old-timey steakhouses, though firmly entrenched in the `90s.
Palm dishes up an Italian cuisine where patrons tend to favor steaks. Expect to pay from $20 to $30 per person.
Atmosphere: is accented by wood tones. The restaurant is relaxed.
