Inside this tiny storefront, with the colorful sign trumpetng its persuasion, is an immaculate venue that puts one in mind of the island itself. Jamaican oil paintings adorn the walls and from behind a bamboo curtain emanate the mouth-watering fragrances of patties, jerk and Jamaican curries-in-progress. The menu also lists some of the health-conscious typical island drinks such as sorrell. This spot is mostly for take-out foods (only a couple of eat-in tables) except in warm months, when a charming back garden comes into play.
This eatery focuses on preparing Jamaican food. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $8 to $12.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are not accepted. Carryout is available.
