This is one of the local favorite Vegetarian/Health food place and it`s not what a displaced Californian would expect -- it`s semi-formal and has a definitely upscale setting. The menu runs the gamut from Asian (garlic eggplant, curry vegetables, spring rolls) and Middle Eastern (humus) to American regional dishes (black bean quesadilla, cheesecake). So as not to confuse you totally, they also offer more traditional health-store fare such as juices, veggie burgers and vegan cakes.
Café Sunflower is an eatery that focuses on an American cuisine where it`s common to order vegetarian meals. Expect the average entrée to cost between $8 and $12, and usually, guests go dressed casual.
