There`s no mistaking that this is a fish house, since it comes with all the traditional trappings: plain dark wooden floors, artistically-draped nets, pictures of fish, and a person standing at the front-of-the-house seafood bar shucking oysters and clams. There has been some confusion between his location and "old Original" -- this is the original family, and the other is the original location. Fish and seafood are cooked in myriad ways.
Visit Bookbinder`s 15th Street House and you`ll get a restaurant that focuses on American dishes with a menu based largely on seafood. Expect to pay roughly $12 to $20 per person.
