This upstairs/downstairs restaurant has two distinct personalities: upstairs is the (very) informal bar where local Portuguese-speaking folks congregate for authentic food and gossip about the neighborhood. Downstairs, with its wrought-iron accents and wine displays, is a bit more structured for dinner. As might be surmised from its name, this restaurant features a strong seafood menu, but features foods of the mainland, as well.
If you try out Berlenga`s Island, you`ll find a restaurant that focuses on Portuguese meals. Expect to pay in the range of $12 to $20 per person.
