Just by turning into an unlikely driveway off of unlovely Piedmont Road, you can step back to a time before the "War of Northern Aggression." Anthony`s restaurant`s building dates back to 1797 and, though it`s been carefully dismantled, moved from its original plantation site, and rebuilt, dining inside evokes a definite feeling of history. The many small dining rooms are cool and intimate, and the service is quite friendly.
Anthony`s is a fine dining establishment that specializes in an American fare. Expect the average entrée to cost between $20 and $30, and dress casual, but fashionable.
