There are two main attractions here: tea house rooms on two levels, and table-side cooking of beef and seafood tobanyaki (using ceramic fry pans called tobans). Recommended starters are avocado and crabstick salad and the appetizer portion of assorted tempura. The deluxe combination of sushi and sashimi, deep-fried vegetable tempura, and shrimp wrapped with strips of beef are popular main courses. Solo diners will feel comfortable at the sushi bar, and there are special lunch and pre-theater menus.
This place dishes up a Japanese cuisine especially known for sushi. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $8 to $12.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly.
