Around the corner from its big daddy is this more casual, but still business-y, split-level watering hole. Vintage wines by the glass are listed on a blackboard, and there are even seven vintage cabernets. The fare of choice is fried zucchini and onion rings, lump crabmeat cocktail, a big chef`s salad, and Cobb salad with chicken and bleu cheese. The meaty dishes of choice are an English-cut prime rib, a great Wollensky`s burger, General Lee`s Memphis ribs, and lamb chops. All desserts are made fresh on premises, such as an apple betty, bourbon pecan pie, and Austrian apple strudel.
Serving guests an American cuisine an emphasis on seafood and steaks, this is a place. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $20 to $30, and people go dressed casual.
Atmosphere: You`ll be able to take in the people watching view from many seats at this eatery. The place has a straight-forward wood finished décor. With seating for 500 people, the restaurant is lively. Table talk is challenging here - you may find yourself shouting.
More Reasons to Go: Wollensky`s Grill is great for entertaining clients.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Carryout is available. It should be noted that this is an adult oriented place. Parking has been arranged for customers.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover
