"Welcome to Hog Heaven," declares a pig-shaped sign overhead. Hog and Steer take many forms at this boisterous, dimly lit barbecue joint opposite the Hynes Convention Center: ribs, pulled pork, sirloin-based Texas Road Kill Chili, burgers, steaks are just some of the selections of meats. Yuppie roadhouse diners stay corralled with watermelon margaritas and banana daiquiris.
Whiskey`s serves an American cuisine with a menu dominated by barbecue and burgers. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and people usually go dressed casual.
