The Lattanzi family`s humming Italian kosher restaurant, with no meat entering its doors (go to Tevere for that). It`s strictly dairy and vegetables and fish, with restorative soups, simple pizzas, fettucine alfredo, vegetarian lasagne, broiled mahi mahi, sole rollatine with capers and pine nuts, and fresh salmon sauteed with black olives, capers, white wine and tomato sauce. There`s a $25 minimum charge per person so don`t think you can just pop in for a salad. Other than that, it`s a warm and pleasant place.
Va Bene dishes up a kosher Italian cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20, and dress casual.
