This Morningside Heights favorite was recently given a face lift, but what really counts hasn`t changed: the food is still great, the table-cloths are still red-checkered, and the waiters are still charmingly gruff. The pizza is fantastic; with eggplant it`s otherworldly. The standard Italian dishes like lasagna and eggplant parmesan are tasty, but it`s the pizza they stand in line for.
V & T serves up Italian food. Expect to pay in the range of $8 to $12 per person.
