Sheltered from the packed commuter passageways of the MetLife Building, this comfortable, dark, and tropical haven is a favorite among the corporate crowd. It`s decorated in beige and earth tones, with a fine wine cellar on view behind glass. The menu focuses on their eclectic seafood with Caribbean flavors: conch chowder with christophene and okra; seared tuna with ragout of bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and "seven spice" sauce; and crab cakes with mustard beurre blanc. Their fresh oysters are fabulous.
This fine dining facility concentrates on a new Asian fare an emphasis on seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost over $20, and you`ll be appropriate if dressed casual, but fashionable.
