Ducks marching across the awning announce that this relative newcomer is the sibling of the similarly designated La Metairie. It`s an attractive French countryside bistro with blue duck light sconces and a large, back-lit Van Gogh replica that gives off a warm glow. Dinner recommendations include garlic mousse with sauteed shiitake mushrooms, crispy roast duckling with wild rice and fruit sauce, and lightly breaded rack of lamb with roasted vegetables. Brunch is especially good.
Stop in Troi`s Canards for a place that serves you French. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and dress casual.
