Attractive and low-lit, The Townhouse is an unpretentious yet upscale neighborhood restaurant with a large gay clientele of a mature age. The menu is contemporary American: roasted salmon stuffed with leeks in a Burgundy butter sauce; portobello mushroom risotto with grilled asparagus and parmesan; and roasted baby chicken with shallots, artichokes, calamata olives and rosemary roasted potatoes. Service is friendly and professional, and there are lots of repeat customers and a low-key bar scene. Dress is smart but casual.
Townhouse is an upscale restaurant that offers a new Continental cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost in the range of $12 to $20, and dress casual.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has a classic décor accented by beige tones. The establishment is small with seating for 85 people, and is relaxed and attracts a middle aged clientele.
More Reasons to Go: Townhouse is appropriate (if not ideal) for entertaining clients, anniversaries and other romantic evenings.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a Sunday brunch for $12.50 per person.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Carte Blanche
