While it looks slightly ramshackle, this tiny Japanese restaurant has a loyal following who will willingly line up out the door on any given night. There is nothing special about the decor or service, but the sushi is outstanding and comes with good miso soup. The kitchen also turns out excellent boiled shrimp dumplings, salmon sauteed in butter, and cold Japanese noodles served on a bamboo tray with fish broth on the side.
Go to Tomoe Sushi for a place that serves patrons a Japanese cuisine where it`s common to order sushi. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12, and you should go dressed casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Notable Mention: Being a good value for your dollar.
Details to Note: Reservations are not accepted. Carryout is available.
Ways to Pay: Cash and American Express
