This cool and classic Art Deco restaurant has clean lines and windowed booths to snuggle in, and appeals to local sophisticates as well as international hotel guests. Nutrition is kept in mind by chef Carmine Marletta, who offers entrees like grilled sweetwater prawns with lobster-whipped potatoes, New Zealand lamb loin wrapped in watercress and rice paper, and beef tenderloin with whole-grain mustard pappardelle and cabernet reduction. For appetizers, there`s porcini risotto, seared foie-gras-filled diver scallops, and hearts of romaine lettuce with C`sar dressing. Special monthly wine dinners are $65-$75.
