A dragon etched on glass snakes around the ceiling of the dining room, just one of the many interesting and artistic touches at this classy restaurant. Warm blues and dark-polished wood envelop the room that is filled with ardent customers from all over the world. Since 1971 it`s gotten raves for its Beijing duck, grilled until golden and dramatically carved, served with homemade crepes and hoisin sauce. Indeed, this is considered by many to be the best, most authentic Chinese in the city. For fun, order the casserole of lean pork shaped like a lion`s head.
Visiting Shun Lee Palace East, you`ll find a place that serves up a Chinese fare. Expect to pay over $30 per person.
