Dinner and a movie has taken on a whole new meaning at this cool TriBeCa spot where independent features are screened just a few steps away from the fine restaurant. The front lobby/snack bar sells Rice Krispie bars, Raisinettes and big cookies, and the lofty and comfortable main dining room offers more sophisticated fare. Chef Mark Spagenthal recreates his hit list from the Markham, including pan-fried artichokes, macaroni with spinach, leeks and parmesan reggiano, and cedar-planked salmon with Swiss chard and parsley puree. Save time for awesome desserts before the theater rush.
Screening Room serves patrons an American cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12 and $20, and there`s a prix-fixe menu. Plan to dress casual, but fashionable.
More Reasons to Go: The live jazz is a great part of your dining experience at this restaurant on occasion (call for details).
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a Sunday brunch. There is also a prix-fixe menu available.
Details to Note: Reservations are accepted. Entrances and walkways are wheelchair friendly. The eatery stays open late.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa and American Express
