A homey Swiss chalet, full of pretty and whimsical touches, run by warm-hearted Ingrid Roettele, who hails from the Black Forest. Her sauerbraten, bratwurst, weinershnitzel and fondue (in winter) are made with care, and at Oktoberfest, there`s nowhere more merry to be. At lunch delicious sandwiches are custom-made, the meat sliced right in front of you, and anytime of day is the right time for her special Euro-style desserts--especially the creme brulee when it hasn`t run out. In summer sit outdoors in the garden and you`d never know you were in New York.
Visiting Roettele Ag, you`ll find a restaurant that dishes up European and German cooking. Expect to pay in the range of $8 to $12 per person.
