a friend and I had a late lunch at Kaya yesterday. starter of prawn dumplings and edamame beans was lovely. a complimentary set of little tasters was delicious too. but stir fried squid was tasteless, too spicy, did not look like a stir fry at all and did not taste like one either. our other meal were noodles, also tasteless, in a plain broth with some deformed egg in it. we did not finish either of the main dishes. we did pay $45 for it - an excessive charge for a poor cuisine. While the staff was friendly and service pleasant, some better recipes would be an improvement to the rating of this excellently located establishment.
