This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. It is Hong Kong-style like you might find in Chinatown, but it's located in a converted steak house in a Los Angeles suburb. It specializes in fish and seafood -- some dishes on the exotic side. But it offers the more typical Chinese fare as well. We especially like the Mixed Meat with Bean Curd Clay Pot, a subtly flavored Chinese stew of a little of everything: shrimp, scallops, tofu, pork, chicken, shiitake mushrooms and broasted garlic cloves. It comes to your table bubbling hot off the stove in a ceramic casserole dish, thus the name clay pot. We highly recommend it!
