Lindey's steaks are HUGE, and very tender. They're marinated a little on the heavy side for my taste. The server brings a big, wooden, stand-up sign and plunks it down at the end of your table. This is the menu. From it, you choose one of their three steak selections (one is chopped). From there, everyone gets exactly the same dinner. Iceberg lettuce salad with a Dorothy Lynch-type dressing, fried potatoes, and a little piece of pickled watermelon rind. The decor is downright tacky, but I guess that's just part of the charm.
