I have been going to this wonderful restaurant for over twenty years. I have taken business associates, out-of-town friends and relatives, and everyday good friends here and the service and food is consistantly the same. In a word, impeccable! Like another reviewer mentioned, service is truly attentive, but never intrusive...Manuel Souza is our(exclusive!)waiter. He always makes sure our dining experience is a special one. As NE boasts; it is like going back in time: pace-wise (waiters in tuxedos,linen tablecloths!) as well as price-wise! I echo the sentiment that it would be great to see more Portugese items on the menu. However, let me say that when my wife and I wish to dine and make it an event, Nova Europa is consistantly one of two places that we consider.
