My Dad had a business on Cheshire Bridge Road during the 50s anad 60s. He used to go there often, and he took us there sometimes. He died in his 80s back in 2008. If I ever want to timewarp back to my childhood, I'll eat there. As for the criticisms, with any restaurant, you'll have good days and bad ones, so the experience will vary. I've never had a bad experience there, but if I did, I wouldn't just write them off. They'd have to be consistently bad for me to tell them to shove off.
