I was treated to a birthday Julia Child Wine Dinner last night and it was superb. Everything from the Moules Farcies to the last course--Bombe aux Trois Chocolats was so refined and delicious. The wine pairings were also quite well-thought out. There was not one portion or sip that was out of place or lacking in exquisite flavor! Our compliments to the chefs, the `passioniste du vins` (for he doesn't consider himself a sommelier) and all those who made it a very special evening--no other restaurant can do it so expertly and still call themselves `affordable.`
