Mogador, known as Essaouira since Morocco got its independence from France (ha, ha) is a city(?) town(?) on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. It is roughly half way between Tanger and Tarfaya, Morocco's southernmost city on the border of what used to be Spanish Sahara, now Western Sahara (I think).
