My friend and I wanted to try something new, so we went to Kabuki. We are on a budget, so the prices were a bit steeper than we are used to, so we asked the waiter about sharing a meal and bringing us an extra plate. He was gracious and not only granted our request, but when he came with our main course, we BOTH received full plates with full bowls of rice as well. The salmon and grilled vegetables were delicious, although we did not like the salad or relish at all -- way too oniony for our palate, and only lettuce. The atmosphere was nice though - special effects of thunder and rain from the ceiling. After such a dry spell in this area of the United States, it was so nice to imagine it was real! We left spending under $30 for both of us and had a nice dining experience.
