I went to the Five Spot for the first time last night with my wife, son and his friend. Our waiter greatly enhanced the experience with his friendly personality and timely attention to our needs. His recommendations were right on, and my dinner (I had the Brisket) was the best. I have home spun tasts, and the savory tender beef and mashed potatoes were perfect. I would recommend that you go there what ever your taste because they have a small but regionally varied menu, and everything I saw looked equally fantastic and appetizing. Also the bread pudding was a delight.
