I noticed a lot of ' bad' reviews on the net & I wanted to at least put something in to help - we almost did not go here because of the bad reviews - but we found that most of those reviews were like `well, wot did you expect` - when it came to oh, the honey butter was too sweet - well, duh, it's HONEY butter! anyway, we also saw something on these reviews about the singers/waiters being too busy singing & not able to serve on time, being unkempt & sweaty - THAT WAS NOT TRUE from our experience! First off, they were excellent singers - top notch quality singing & they helped each other out so if your waiter/waitress was singing then they would have someone else helping you - they were not 'gross' - they were very nice & clean. The service was good ... they were very sweet kids. I think a lot of people expect more from places sometimes than what 'shows' even on the outside of a place - it's an RV park, it's in a building decorating 'cowboy/wild west' style so why do people expect anything else??? Some people who write reviews are so snooty it seems - when in reality, it's a 'theme' place & that's the type of place you are going to eat at. We LOVED the salads and garlic bread - someone commented about leaving hungry - I don't know why because you get all you can eat beans & bisquits. The meat was not bad like others had commented - the meat was fine & compared to other spots where you have 'entertainment' the food was far better & the price was comparable to the fact that you had entertainment. We went to a place like this in Cottonwood & the food was not as 'fancy' - no steaks, let's say - & you paid MORE. So, keep in mind, you are paying for the fact you have music for the ENTIRE time you are there - no breaks, no stopping playing or singing. The pianist never left the piano the entire time we were there. The night we were there they had TWO TOUR BUSES and we were STILL served promptly, checked back on, drinks refilled, extra stuff brought, etc. The waitresses and waiters have EXTREMELY POSITIVE attitudes!
