Portions are tiny with a most hefty price for the once & only time I will have eaten there. I would appear to me that those who come & work here from out of the country more often than native citizens (beleive it or not) have been sold on their entitlement of `their` gratuity. Gratuities use to be 10% not many years ago & were optional (especially if you were coming back). Now one can expect hostility & nasty confrontation because of management not willing to pay a decent wage nor willing to advertize how really expensive a simple meal will cost. It's deceptive, manipulative & cheap of the restaurant business to put this over on the willing (& P.C.) public. Nice owner of this restaurant & he's only doing what he can to cater to a well-of cliente, but because of the choice of the waitpeople, on occasion the squeeze will fall on them to do battle for the business. Thanks to history, the escalation of gratuities & prices, the unconscious greed & disconnect in the social/cultural system, we're all stuck with this until we decide otherwise. Happy dining!
