Red Rose is like going home for a home cooked meal. We were celebrating my mother recently turning 90 years old. Earlier in the day my Mom and I picked up a friend at Bradley which was a surprise for my Mom. We were all staying over night at the Marriott Hotel and then going on to do some shopping the next day. We were looking for a nice place to have a dinner that night. I read the description of the Red Rose and it just felt right. Well, it should of it was a Sicilian Italian restaurant and we are Sicilian. After being seated for a bit a very good looking man came to our table and asked if he heard right and asked my mother was she really celebrating her 90th birthday. My mother said yes. He then proceeded on to ask if he might sing to her. She said yes. He got the attention of everyone in the restaurant and told them of my Mom's birthday and that everyone will now sing Happy Birthday to her, which they all did. That will be a magical memory that my Mom will hold close to her heart. Thank you to the generous personable gentleman for making my mothers day. I wish I knew his name I would like to thank him again. The frosting on the cake was that the food was out of this world. The atmosphere was one that a family, friends, couples would feel right at home. Again, I thank the hostess, the owner, our waitress and the restaurant singer for going way out of your their way with kindness from the heart! Daughter of the Mom
