We have had dinner four times in as many months a the Blue Ox and have enjoyed it each and every time. The food is great and the service has been attentive. We are happy to have found a neighborhood restaurant that is casual and affordable, yet with quality food and good service. The `homemade` tira misu is outstanding! Is follow up to post by jgringewicz ... the ox has defintely gone down hill. when walter owned it, the food was excellent. he died 2 years ago. when the new owners first took over, it was pretty good fare. they wanted to keep some of the ox's traditions (Nov=game month) but it seems that the chef left and now the food is at best so-so. the wings are very good but everything else is catch as catch can -- 6/12/2008 6:54:38 AM
