While the ancestors of those who run the restaurant might have been German, the food there sure isn't. It's heavily Americanized, with strong influences from pseudo-Italian cuisine. Expect LOTS of vinegar, schnitzels without egg and a maize based crisp, and many other rapes of german cuisine. The only menu item that came with a sauce was Hungarian. Noisy as hell, and it takes forever before a waiter approaches the table. At half the price, it would have been OK as an alternative to a diner or cheap Italian, but as it is, it's overpriced, pretentious, and with bad and extremely unauthentic food.
