The Buggy Whip is a family favorite of ours. Never have we had the experiences reported by the negative reviews. Of course we always make reservations and arrive on time. The food is good, relatively simple and in my opinion moderately priced. This is an old fashioned dinner house, the type that was once popular around Los Angeles, but are now almost non existent. If you want overpriced, small portions of more exotic food, this is not the place for you. If you want an good steak, or fish this is a great place. I frankly find the waitresses a kick, a few who have been working there since the first day. I would particularly recommend the large shrimp scampi and the calamari steak.
