I frequented this restaurant for several years during the 90's and early 00's. I hadn't been there in about 3 years and now wish I had never returned. The restaurant that once gave me fond memories of eating in New Mexico now gives me nightmares. When we arrived, there were only a couple of tables that were occupied. Even with the few patrons, we still had to wait to be seated only to have the host/waiter clean the table right in front of us after seating us. The next turn off with the restaurant was the waiter's smart*comments about the fact that he had to refill my soda after a few minutes. Chips and salsa were brought out to us with our salsa being brought out in a disposable container while other tables had theirs in stone wear. We witnessed two groups of 5 or more people walk in, turn around and walk out due to the way they were being put off to be seated. I ordered a chile relleno along with a taco and enchilada. The chile relleno was obviously something that had come from a box frozen. It had been deep fried to a dark burnt crisp. The taco's shell must have been set out the day before to get nice and stale. The enchilada was very mediocre at best. When asking my girlfriend to describe her meal there just now she just replied `gross`. This experience actually saddened me as it was the closest thing to Santa Fe that you could get in Oklahoma at one time. Not anymore. (edited)
