RACIST A friend of mine suggested Side Street on a recent visit to Memphis. I initially thought this would be a great idea since I was enjoying the warm climate and this little place had outdoor seating (I even overlooked the fact that they were just cheap plastic chairs - likely from Wal-Mart.) The service was horrible beyond belief! I waited 25 minutes for a glass of wine and a Corona, which I receive only after inquiring about noone coming to take my order. After finishing our drinks, no one had come to take my order still. This place is a poor representation of what the south has to offer. Additionally, It appeared that the staff was much slower to wait on people of color.
