I've been visiting the Casual Clam for years, and I used to think it was great. In the past 2 years it has really gone downhill - chowder served lukewarm with a skin on it, and then nuked when it was sent back; steamers that came with some empty open shells and an argument when that was questioned; the fish sandwich now just mediocre. I think there was a change in ownership or cooks, but it needs to change again. The wait staff, however, is always quick and friendly.
