My group stumbled upon the Alpine during our first trip to the Quarter. On our next trip, we made a point to find it and have another dinner there. One of the few times my second experience exceeded the memory of the first. Excellent atmosphere, service, and food. Of course, I can't eat at every restaurant in New Orleans, but I find it difficult to believe that I could find one any better.
